Brand Overview
Un-Wrinkle Eye makes the same “look years younger” claim as the other Un-Wrinkle products, but doesn’t have nearly as interesting a formula, at least not if you’re looking for a peptide-rich product. This has purpose as a lightweight moisturizer for slightly dry skin anywhere on the face, and it contains some good antioxidants in packaging that will keep them stable during use. However, this will not lead to lineless eyes.
If anything, the saving grace is this eye cream's interesting blend of peptides, although you can find less expensive products that deliver more peptides in higher concentrations AND in better packaging.
Exclusive, patent pending blend of six powerful ANTI-AGING PEPTIDES and NEUROPEPTIDES (highly concentrated at 23%) are combined with three new cutting-edge ingredients especially created for the eye area. Includes neuropeptides, SYN-AKE at 4%, SNAP-8 at 10% and ARGIRELINE (hexapeptide) at 3% and peptides, SYN-COLL at 3% and MATRIXYL 3000 (a dual peptide) at 3%. Visibly reduces the appearance of deep and fine eye wrinkles from the first application. Diminishes the appearance of lines, crows feet and other skin creases around the eye area. Advanced technology leaves the delicate eye area feeling firmer, looking soft, smooth and years younger.
Peter Thomas Roth At-A-Glance
Peter Thomas Roth is a large but straightforward line with mostly uncomplicated formulations that, for the most part, are quite good and state-of-the-art. Unlike many product lines, most of the acne, AHA, BHA, sunscreen, and moisturizing products contain what they should to be effective and helpful for skin.
Even more impressive are the well-formulated cleansers, sunscreens, AHA products, and skin brighteners. The moisturizers have improved somewhat, and most are now packaged so that the light- and air-sensitive ingredients remain stable. In fact, Roth's packaging deserves special mention because it is exceptionally utilitarian.
After all that glowing praise, what you should be aware of are the instances of products containing potential irritants (noted in their respective reviews) as well as the products in jar packaging that contain ingredients which are sensitive to air and light.
