Brand Overview

Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion Aloe, Fragrance Free is an excellent, budget-friendly body lotion to consider, especially for sensitive skin. It contains a roster of tried-and-true ingredients known to replenish dry skin and prevent moisture loss.

Other than a few antioxidants, it's not the most sophisticated body lotion in terms of extra beneficial ingredients like ceramides, but it doesn't pretend to be, either. It gets the job done for dry skin and has a creamy-rich texture that blends on like a dream—no greasy residue. Considering this product's price for what you get, it's an excellent drugstore buy!

Note: This formula is similar to Gold Bond's Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion, Aloe, except that product contains fragrance. The fragrance-free version is superior and a better bet for sensitive, eczema-prone skin, hence its higher rating.

Pros:
  • Contains ingredients known to replenish dry skin and prevent moisture loss.
  • Creamy-rich texture blends smoothly with being greasy or slick.
  • Family-friendly size and price.
  • Fragrance free; great for sensitive skin below the neck.
Cons:
  • None.
Jar Packaging: No
Tested on animals: No

Gold Bond At-A-Glance

Gold Bond is a staple at drugstores due to their small selection of body lotions, anti-itch products, and various foot-care products. Though there are a number of Gold Bond products containing the potent irritant menthol (particularly its foot care and "medicated" products), in recent years Gold Bond has taken great strides and now offers some impressive moisturizers that are fairly priced, too.
