Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème
When we first saw Becca's Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème come across our desks, it seemed very familiar, and for good reason! This is essentially the same product as the brand's top-rated Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector and Under Eye Brightening Corrector, and it delivers the same stellar performance as those offerings.
The packaging is identical to the other two products as well; it comes in a glass pot-style container and has an emollient, almost waxy texture. It's also fragrance-free (always good news, especially for products used in the eye area).
The main difference between Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème and its sister products is in the shades offered. Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector features colors such as green and purple to neutralize specific discolorations, and Under Eye Brightening Corrector has a single pinkish shade, but the Concealing Creme offers flesh-toned options for fair to medium deep skin tones with warm, cool, and neutral undertones.
Another difference is that the concealer is meant to be worn on its own, instead of as an additional makeup step, and it works brilliantly in that regard.
The emollient formula is best for those with normal to dry skin, and it's a cinch to apply and blend. It sets to a satin finish that shows just minimal creasing and no fading throughout a standard day's wear (it also doesn't look cakey and doesn't "travel" as the day goes on).
As advertised, this is a full-coverage product. It's very effective at covering dark circles, redness and other discolorations. Because of its texture (thick and heavy can be pore-clogging), it's not the best option for covering blemishes, so that's something to keep in mind.
Although not inexpensive, a little of this goes a very long way, so it's likely to last for quite some time before you have to repurchase. Its performance and ability to live up to its claims means Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème gets high marks from us!

Australian import Becca is a complete line of color cosmetics from makeup artist Rebecca Morrice Williams. As the story goes, Rebecca, like so many women, was having difficulty finding the perfect foundation. It seems her professional experience making up women of varying skin tones and preferences shared one truth: all women wanted perfect skin. This set Williams on her path to creating what would become the Becca line, a makeup collection that caters well to all skin tones.
While there are a number of excellent foundations here, what seems to have catapulted the brand onto the map is their numerous highlighter products. From liquids to powders, there are an incredible range of options in their luminizer categories, and many are superb.
Surveying the rest of this line revealed that Williams not only did her homework for foundation shades, the eyeshadows are amazingly silky, and many of their products for lips and cheeks are exemplary. Lastly, almost all of the makeup brushes from Becca are aces, and the options plentiful, especially for eye designs.
Strengths: Excellent concealers, foundations, highlighters and eyeshadows; good lip gloss; several outstanding brushes.
Weaknesses: Beats us, this is a strong collection of products.
Becca is available at Sephora, Ulta and via their Web site.
