Brand Overview

Stunna Lip Paint blew us way with its ultra-saturated color that actually lives up to its promise of 12-hour wear. Not only that—the sole red shade really does look great on everyone.

A little goes a long way with this weightless liquid formula. You only a need a very light, thin layer to get rich opacity. In fact, the less you put on, the better—when applied heavily, this formula is very prone to rubbing off on to your coffee mug or anything else that it comes into contact with.

Interestingly, no matter how much this lipstick transfers, the underlying color remains incredibly vibrant and rich. We put it to the test by eating, drinking, lip smacking, etc. and several hours later the color was still vivid. It was only towards the end of the 12-hour wear that it eventually started to a fade.

More to love, the sleek packaging functions well, too. With each use, the wand applicator hugs the natural contour of your lips, delivering a super-smooth glide—very important for precise application of such richly pigmented color.

Rounding out the compliments, the fragrance-free, soft-matte formula doesn't feel ultra-drying like many liquid lipsticks do. Instead, you get the long-wearing color without the harsh, parched feel. It also doesn't cake or crack once it dries.

If you're in the market for a classic, rich red lipstick with impressive wear, Stunna Lip Paint is worth checking out.

Pop mogul Rihannas made her mark in the worlds of music, movies, and fashion, and now she expands her empire to include makeup with Fenty Beauty, under the umbrella of parent brand Kendo. Taken from the last name she doesnt use on stage, Fenty Beautys philosophy is Beauty for All, with an emphasis on diversity and inclusivity in its products. Among its most heralded offerings is its foundation, which comes in 40 shades with undertones appropriate for very fair to very deep skin tones, and its highlighters, which include a blindingly bright 24-karat gold shade.

Beyond all the press though, does Fenty Beauty deliver? For the most part, the answer is yes, and both the foundation and the highlighters are solid products worthy of their build-up, along with a nearly-universal lip gloss that works for a wide range of people. Most products are fragrance free or contain minimal fragrance, and come in thoughtful packaging thats convenient and, in some cases, modular (some complementary products are magnetized so that theyre easy to keep together as a set).

If youve been interested in seeing whether all the hype is worth it, we say that by and large it is. For more information on Fenty Beauty, visit https://www.fentybeauty.com/.
