Studio Pro Total Coverage Concealer
BH Cosmetics has a reputation as a bargain makeup brand with an eye for bright colors. While its Studio Pro Total Coverage Concealer might not seem like the most eye-catching product in the lineup, it's got a lot to offer and deserves your attention.
This concealer comes in a squeeze tube with a built-in angled plastic applicator (similar to those used for many eye gels). It works just fine, though you can also use your finger, a sponge, or a brush to apply.
The texture of this fragrance-free product is creamy enough to dab on and blend with ease, but it's not overly emollient. In fact, it dries down to a soft demi-matte finish, making it best for those with normal and combination to oily skin. If you plan to use this around your eyes, be sure to prep with a lightweight moisturizer or eye gel first.
Coverage of this concealer is initially medium, but easily builds to full coverage if needed. It does an excellent job covering dark circles, redness, and blemishes without looking cakey or chalky.
Studio Pro Total Coverage Concealer also wears well for the most part, with no fading or migrating to other areas of the face even after a full day of wear. It also comes in a good range of natural-looking shades for fair to deep skin tones.
The "for the most part" comment on wear is relatively minor, but this does tend to crease a bit towards the end of its wear time. This is more of a factor if you have dry skin, but it's something to consider.
Otherwise, it's a good concealer, and for a great price, too.
- Creamy texture is easy to apply and blend.
- Buildable medium-to-full coverage.
- Wears well without fading.
- Comes in a good range of shades.

The brainchild of three beauty industry insiders (including a former advertising executive) who set out to provide makeup lovers with colorful, quality products at affordable prices, BH Cosmetics got its start in Los Angeles in 2009. For the most part, the brand succeeds in this mission and has garnered a loyal following in the process.
BH Cosmetics was quick to reach out to social media stars to feature its products and the strategy has worked well; most of the brand’s notoriety is based on its presence in online reviews from influencers. But it’s more than just hype that’s put BH Cosmetics on the map: The products perform well, at prices that are budget-friendly.
For our initial reviews, we selected a handful of BH Cosmetics’ most popular products, and for the most part the news is good. Among the winners are a setting spray that skips the drying alcohol found in others, a foundation and concealer that hold up through a full day of wear and come in a good range of colors, and a brow pencil that’s a dupe for more expensive versions on the market.
Right now, BH Cosmetics is sold on the brand’s website, which also offers wholesale purchases for makeup artists, as well as at Ulta. You can learn more at https://www.bhcosmetics.com/.
