Brand Overview

This silky, fragrance-free gel has a nearly weightless texture and soft matte finish that can help keep excess shine (from oil) at bay, at least for a couple of hours. It exfoliates with a pH-correct blend of lesser-known alpha hydroxy acids (AHA)—mandelic acid and gluconolactone (PHA, polyhydroxy acid). Mandelic acid is an interesting choice, but there simply isn’t enough research to support its use over the AHAs glycolic and lactic acids. Still, it’s worth considering and this gel will definitely prompt exfoliation for a smoother skin texture and, yes, even reduced pore size.

Pros:
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Silky, light texture sets to a lasting matte finish ideal for oily skin.
  • Helps control surface shine while smoothing skin’s texture.
  • Contains a pH-correct blend of AHA and PHA.
Cons:
  • Lacks antioxidants and anti-irritants to benefit your skin.
  • Some may find the finish feels a bit tacky.

Jar Packaging: No
Tested on animals: No

Reducing excess oil has finally been made easy! This clear, lightweight gel effectively minimizes oil and controls shine, while creating a velvety matte finish. Powerful Alpha and Poly Hydroxy Acids finish the job by decreasing the appearance of pore size, smoothing, exfoliating and hydrating.
