Brand Overview

What a mess this cleanser is! Not only does it contain a potentially drying amount of potassium hydroxide (lye to be precise), it also contains a lot of fragrance plus the irritating menthol derivative menthone glycerin acetal. There are several potentially beneficial ingredients in this cleanser, but even taken together they still amount to a mere dusting, and they are rinsed from the skin before they can be helpful.

Steer clear, because this is not the way to clean the face or reduce stress on skin (and remember the stress reduction concept is what this line is built around, yet fails miserably to accomplish). And by the way, this formula is about as natural as polyester. The amount of fragrance ingredients it contains is enough to send sensitive skin into a tailspin of trouble, meaning your sensitive skin will get worse, not better.

Glacial Face Wash helps relieve bumps, breakouts and irritation due to stress-related increases in hormone levels and oil production. Formulated with the purest Icelandic glacial waters and beneficial botanicals, this creamy, foaming cleanser is exceedingly mild, so it detoxifies and purifies without stripping skin of its natural moisture. Skin's harmony, balance and glow are restored.
