| Anti-Shine remains an intriguing product for anyone with very oily skin. It is mostly water and magnesium with a hint of color (a colorless version is also available). Magnesium (as in Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia) absorbs oil very well and does not feel as heavy on the skin as clays do. This formula goes on extremely matte and dry and has great staying power; it is definitely worth trying if you have oily to very oily skin, and it works well with a matte-finish foundation. Anti-Shine may be applied under or over foundation to keep oiliness in check. |
