| The directions for this aerosol foundation tell you to spray it on your hands and then apply it to your face, so it isn’t one-step complexion perfection in a can; it doesn’t create an airbrushed look at all, unless your hand is where you wanted to wear your makeup. Following these directions, the pressurized foundation blasts onto your fingers and can quickly make a mess if you’re not very careful. You can also spray a foundation sponge, but again, overdoing it is an issue and the sponge tends to soak up a lot of this foundation due to the force of the mist. Once on skin, this is relatively easy to blend and the finish is smooth and natural-looking. It provides sheer to light coverage and has a strong matte finish that feels nearly weightless. The fair to light shades are very good, but the darkest shades (Medium to Deep and Deep) tend to be too yellowish orange, although they may work for some skin tones. Overall, the application is too problematic and wastes too much makeup, plus, as nice as it may look on skin, you can achieve the same effect from any well-formulated liquid foundation. |
