| Fashion trends, fashion designers, and red-carpet celebrities play a big role in selling this mascara (as they do for many cosmetics and other objects of desire). That’s where the Iconic name comes from, along with this mascara’s backstage legacy of creating outrageously long, curved lashes. The unique rubber-bristled brush does a fantastic job of extending and curling every last lash, all without clumps. This doesn’t build the wow-factor thickness of the original Diorshow Mascara, but has a cleaner, more precise application that refuses to falter (and gets incrementally better) with successive coats. Those looking for just as much length and curl but with lots of thickness should check out Cover Girl’s hard-to-beat Lash Blast Mascara or L’Oreal’s Lash Architect Mascara, both of which cost one-fourth what Dior is charging for Iconic Mascara. |
